Northern Berks County Screw-tip Powder Horn with Polka Dots:
Northern Berks County screw-tip horn with Polka Dots: This replica Northern Berks horn is made from an original I recently handled. The horn has the lead oxide decorative spots (or polka dots) covering the horn body. It is lightly "aged" and is a medium sized horn..
The horn measures approximately 11-1/2" across and 2-3/16" diameter at the butt. It has nice curve and twist.

Aged Northern Georgia Horn: - This powder horn is a banded North Georgia horn with three horn bands, a two-piece turned wood butt with steel tacks for decoration. The applied two-piece tip is made from turned horn and antler at the spout. The horn is aged up to match the bag and shows "wear" with worn bands on the inside of the horn and scratches on the front and back of the horn.

In September 2024 my friend and fellow Kentucky Rifle Association member, Denny Donharl organized the largest exhibit of Huntingdon County, PA made longrifles that had ever been displayed. The Historic Event was held at the Isett Heritage Museum near Huntingdon, PA. The exhibit showcased over 105 original antique longrifles that were made in Huntingdon County during the 19th and early 20th centuries.
More than sixteen individuals collaborated to share their rifles from their collections in this display.
This full-color eighteen-page book with over 26 photos from the event showing many of the rifles that were displayed along with some historic items relating to gun making in the county was put together following the event.

Early Philadelphia Style Screw-tip horn w/ Horn Band:
Early Philadlephia Style Screw-tip Horn w/ Horn Band: This replica Early Philadelphia screw-tip horn has a neatly turned cherry wood butt with extra decorative grooves and rope carving as seen on several originals. There is a horn band just below the butt at the top end of the horn which contrast in color with the golden/brown body of the horn. The horn surface is scraped to a finish as found on the originals. The applied horn collar and "pawn-shaped" screw tip are cleanly turned match originals.
The horn measures approximately 12-1/2" across and 3" diameter at the butt. It has good curve and twist and can be carried either side.

Excellent Condition American Military Contract Horn: This is a fine condition U.S. Contract pattern military contract horn with the spring-loaded brass spout and screw-out knob at butt end. The horn is unmarked and shows light wear. It is all original.

Excellent Condition American Military Contract Horn:
Very Rare Original Eastern PA Double Screw-tip Horn: This is a very rare original Eastern Pennsylvania (Lehigh) double screw-tip horn. I have only ever seen two others that I believe were from the same shop. This horn has a maple wood butt with integral button and a double horn screw-tip spout end. There is significant carry wear on the inside curve of this horn with the body worn flat at the inside. The outer tip is a professional replacement. There is nice patina on this horn.
Horn measures 11-3/4" across and approximately 2-5/8" diameter at the butt.
